Play Starlight Princess slot online
One paid spin in Starlight Princess can continue through several tumbles before the grid settles. You can play the Starlight Princess slot online at BetWright, where eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid create a win. A single winged-heart multiplier can carry a value of up to 500x, and several qualifying values are added together.
This is the original Starlight Princess game from Pragmatic Play. It has high volatility and 15 initial Free Spins, while the payout cap for a full round is 5,000 times the bet. Starlight Princess 1000, Pachi, Super Scatter and Starlight Wins are separate games with different rules and payout limits.
How to play Starlight Princess slot game
Starlight Princess uses Pay Anywhere wins instead of fixed paylines. To play Starlight Princess, choose the amount for one round and use the information panel to check the active rules before pressing Spin.
- Use the plus or minus button to select the amount for one round.
- Select the information icon to read the symbol values, RTP and Free Spins conditions.
- Press Spin to place symbols across all 30 positions on the grid.
- Look for at least eight identical paying symbols anywhere on the screen.
- Let the full tumble sequence finish, as one paid spin can contain several separate wins.
- Watch for four or more Princess Scatters to start the Free Spins feature.
The stake shown on screen covers the complete round, including any tumbles that follow the first result. Multiplier symbols do not increase the cost of that round. Check the amount again before starting the next spin, particularly after changing the bet setting.
How do wins work in Starlight Princess?
A win needs between eight and 30 matching paying symbols on the grid. Their positions do not have to connect, sit on neighbouring reels or follow a line. The paytable uses different payout bands according to the symbol and the total number that land.
Once a win is calculated, every paying symbol involved disappears. New symbols fall into the empty positions and the game checks the grid again. Another group of eight or more creates a second payout within the same round, then another tumble begins. This continues until the replacement symbols no longer form a win.
For example, nine matching gems can create the first payout and clear from the screen. If the refill produces eight matching premium symbols, that becomes another win without a second stake being taken. Any eligible multiplier symbols are assessed after the full sequence has ended.
There is no standard Wild symbol in the original game. Wins depend on the number of identical paying symbols that appear, while the Princess Scatter and winged-heart multipliers have separate jobs. The same broad scatter-pay and tumble system appears in Gates of Olympus, although its artwork and feature symbols are different.
The anime-style princess stands beside a castle suspended above the clouds, while coloured gems and celestial symbols fill the reels. Those details also make the important symbols easy to separate. The princess opens Free Spins, and the numbered hearts control the multipliers.
What bonuses are available in Starlight Princess?
The main Starlight Princess bonuses are the random Win Multipliers and the Free Spins round. A multiplier needs a paying tumble to take effect, while Princess Scatters provide access to Free Spins.
How do Win Multipliers work?
Winged-heart Multiplier symbols can appear in the base game or during Free Spins. Each one carries a random value between 2x and 500x. If at least one arrives during a tumble sequence that also produces a win, the qualifying values are added and applied to the total payout from that sequence.
The values are added rather than multiplied together. A 10x heart and a 25x heart therefore make a 35x multiplier, not 250x. If numbered hearts appear but the tumble sequence has no paying group, they do not award a separate prize.
How do you trigger Free Spins?
Four or more Princess Scatter symbols start the bonus with 15 Free Spins. The Scatters can occupy any positions on the 6x5 grid and do not need to touch.
Three or more Scatters during the feature add five Free Spins. The running multiplier is not cleared when extra spins are added.
How does the multiplier total work during Free Spins?
The Free Spins round keeps a multiplier total above the grid. When one or more winged-heart multipliers land during a winning tumble, their values are added to that total. The updated figure is then applied to the payout from the current sequence.
Suppose the first qualifying multiplier adds 10x to the counter. A later winning tumble with a 25x symbol raises the saved total to 35x, and that 35x value applies to the new tumble win. The counter remains in place for the rest of the bonus and can continue rising after later qualifying hearts.
A saved total does not guarantee a payout on the next Free Spin. The grid must still produce enough matching symbols, and a new multiplier must arrive with a winning sequence for the accumulated value to be used again.
What are the Starlight Princess RTP and max win?
The Starlight Princess RTP is 94.5%, and the game has high volatility. Stakes start at £0.20 and can reach £5 per spin, subject to the limits applied to your account. The Starlight Princess max win is 5,000x the selected stake for one complete round.
Win system: 8 or more matching symbols anywhere
Grid: 6 reels and 5 rows
Stake range: £0.20 to £5 per spin
Volatility: High
Multiplier values: 2x to 500x
Initial Free Spins: 15
RTP: 94.5%
Maximum win: 5,000x the stake
Provider: Pragmatic Play
RTP describes a modelled return across extensive play, not a target for one session. It does not tell you what one spin or bonus will return. High volatility also means that the frequency and size of payouts can vary considerably over shorter periods, without giving any indication of the next result.
Can I play Starlight Princess with cash or demo credits?
Real-money access is limited to eligible customers who are at least 18. Sign in to our online casino, open the game and confirm the displayed stake before starting a cash round. All wins remain subject to the game rules and the 5,000x payout cap.
The Starlight Princess demo uses virtual credits instead of money. It keeps the 6x5 grid, Pay Anywhere rules, tumbles, multipliers and Free Spins, so it can help you learn what each symbol does. Demo credit and any return made with it have no cash value, and earlier demo results cannot predict later real-money spins.
Starlight Princess also opens in compatible mobile and tablet browsers. The controls resize around the grid, but the win requirements and bonus rules stay the same. Before using cash, choose limits that suit your budget and session length with our safer gambling tools.
